A Window
Invisible Sounds x Cosmos AC
This site-specific video installation uses the visual structure of an existing window as a framework for dividing the screen. The window was digitally recreated in Photoshop, with its sections defining the areas in which the video footage appears. The video piece combines personal footage with archival material sourced from the internet. The collected videos were processed using a pre-existing Instagram filter and subsequently edited together into a single composition. The footage juxtaposes industrial production environments with DIY and home-based practices, bringing different forms of making and production into visual comparison.
