A Super 8 short film emerging from the political climate surrounding the rise of far-right extremist movements and their attempts to silence queer voices, following the election of Portugal’s first far-right MP since the end of the dictatorship in 2019. In the darkness, the flashing lights became brutally invasive as I searched for bodies through the camera.
